He may just be the next Motzart. Then again, maybe I'm just his mom!

Spencer has been hard at work for the past year with piano lessons. He has gotten so good and actually really enjoys it. We never really have to fight about practicing or going to lessons. He was the one that begged us for a year to start taking lessons. Now he seems to really enjoy it. He had his first recital last night. He was SO nervous before the recital. I told him to sit down and practice the song a couple times. He COULD NOT remember it or play it right. Well, like a pro, he pulled it out at the recital (must admit, we were a bit nervous). He did it perfectly! Gregg and I asked him if he was even nervous when he got up there because he didn't look it at all. He said, "I was a little nervous sitting there waiting for my turn. But then I got up there and thought.... well, I'm here. I guess I'll just play the piece". He's such a stud!

SUPRISE!!!!

About 2 weeks ago we woke the kids up early in the morning and said, "hey, you know what would be a fun thing to do today?..... GO TO DISNEYLAND!!!" Let's just say, the reaction was my FAVORITE part of the trip!!

Let the games begin

We are in to the spring sports season! Joshua is trying out soccer for the first time. Let's just say, the kids got game! He's awesome out there. He really loves playing and has 2 of his best buddies on his team. Go Blue Shark Dragons!! Kid you not.... that's the name of the team. They let the kids pick!

Spencer is playing baseball with his team again. They are doing great and Spenc is loving it. These boys are so awesome! They are all such great friends and they all adore one another. It has been such a great experience for the kids to play together for the past 3 years. Unfortunately, things get serious starting next year. They have to try out for teams and go into the "draft". Why???!!!! These kids just want to stay together. So, needless to say we are "drinking in" the experience of this last year. They are in second place right now and working hard. Go Rays!
