Spencer has been hard at work for the past year with piano lessons. He has gotten so good and actually really enjoys it. We never really have to fight about practicing or going to lessons. He was the one that begged us for a year to start taking lessons. Now he seems to really enjoy it. He had his first recital last night. He was SO nervous before the recital. I told him to sit down and practice the song a couple times. He COULD NOT remember it or play it right. Well, like a pro, he pulled it out at the recital (must admit, we were a bit nervous). He did it perfectly! Gregg and I asked him if he was even nervous when he got up there because he didn't look it at all. He said, "I was a little nervous sitting there waiting for my turn. But then I got up there and thought.... well, I'm here. I guess I'll just play the piece". He's such a stud!

Let the games begin
We are in to the spring sports season! Joshua is trying out soccer for the first time. Let's just say, the kids got game! He's awesome out there. He really loves playing and has 2 of his best buddies on his team. Go Blue Shark Dragons!! Kid you not.... that's the name of the team. They let the kids pick!
Spencer is playing baseball with his team again. They are doing great and Spenc is loving it. These boys are so awesome! They are all such great friends and they all adore one another. It has been such a great experience for the kids to play together for the past 3 years. Unfortunately, things get serious starting next year. They have to try out for teams and go into the "draft". Why???!!!! These kids just want to stay together. So, needless to say we are "drinking in" the experience of this last year. They are in second place right now and working hard. Go Rays!

Welcome Spring!
So, it's been a while. I know you must be dying to know what we've been up to. So, here's a quick recap.....
Spencer went to his first concert. DAVID ARCHULETTA! His friend Ben invited him to go see it in Idaho Falls so we (kids and Shannon and I) drove up to I.F. on March 20th for the big event. He was fantastic and we were in the 4th row. Great seats. Great music. Lots of fun.
We've started soccer and baseball. So basically we are up to some type of practice or game EVERY day! Josh had never even seen a soccer ball. Scored two goals his first game. What can I say, the kids got game! Spenc has reunited with his baseball team from last year. They had such a great season and SOOOO much fun. I'm so glad the kids were able to stay together!
We are enjoying seeing the blooms on the trees and flowers starting to spring up from the ground. Enough of the winter! Easter was wonderful today and we got to enjoy all the fun that goes along with it..... baskets, eggs, church, music, family and food. Cousins Alex, Kelly and Katie came over for Easter and we got to enjoy some great music compliments of Alex. Amazing really!
Gregg was called as the ward executive secretarty today and I as Relief Society teacher (still in scouts). We couldn't believe it.... Gregg is out of Young Mens for the first time in 8 years!! He's really excited to work with our amazing bishop and his councelors. I did tell him that it's time to learn to text!
We hope you are all doing well and enjoyed a wonderful and happy Easter!!!

A Birthday Tea Party
Allie's four!!! As sad as I am to see my kids get older, I love birthdays. Allie wanted a "tea pot" party this year. So we dug in, invited all her friends, decorated cupcakes, played duck-duck-birthday goose, dressed up, baked and had a great time. The kids all looked so cute, but Allie's little friend Jackson won best dressed. He came in a dapper suit, hair slicked back and wearing calogne. NICE!
Allie is beyond precious! She is outgoing, polite, loving, smart, demanding, in charge, a "singer", a "reader", friendly and adorable. We love all her girliness filling our house. We are total buds these days. She loves hanging out with mommy. And I couldn't be happier about that. HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLIE GIRL!
I caught me a BOBCAT!!

Josh is always good for a laugh!
Joshua is just always full of joy and laughter and naugtiness and ALWAYS gives us a good story to tell......
The other night, I'm tucking Josh into bed and we're talking and reading and singing, etc. I start telling him how much I love him and how lucky I am to be his mommy. I then tell him that I am the LUCKIEST mommy because God sent me Joshua and all the mommies wanted Josh, but i got him! I told him that mommy and daddy prayed every night for a long time to PLEASE give us Josh. So he says, "Mommy -- ALL the mommies wanted me"? I say, "Yep! ALL the mommies". Josh says, "They all asked Heavenly Father for me"? I said, "yea. Because you were the coolest and sweetest and cutest and bravest and most fun"! He said, "really mommy"? I said, "Absolutely". Then he sits there and thinks about it for a minute then says, "Even the Spanish and China mommies wanted me"? After laughing for a good minute, I said, "Yes Joshua, even the Spanish and China mommies"!!! Man he's fun!!!
